Orlaith has just won 1st place under 18's at Oireachtas na Samhna 2011, Corn Annie Eogháin Eamoinn'
Orlaith was born into a traditional music area of Connemara , She has been sean nos singing since 6 years of age., winning numerous certificates and top prizes in Com Cuimhneachain Pheatsai Ui Cheannbhain Faoi 13 and also took part in Feile Joe Einniu Carna in 2005. Her vocal strengths and singing skills have developed under the guidance of traditional singer and teacher Nan Tom Teaimin.
Orlaith has recorded vocals tracks for studio artists and has performed at the Spirit of Voice festival in the past featuring on the Live 05 festival DVD fundraising project for the Cystic Fibrosis association
