Under the gaze of Storytelling legend Pádraic Ó’Connaire’s statue
Galway City Museum hosts an innovative, humorous, educational audiovisual event
Spirit of Voice travelled around the county gathering eyewitness accounts and personal folklore recordings.
This archive collection told by local people covers many topics from their past.
Memories include Fishing, Culture, Gaelic myths, dramatic journeys and hilarious moments.
The audio will mix together with a visual loop display that conjures up the moments of story time.
Be prepared to be amazed at what Galway people really talk about.

This event is accessible for the deaf via sign language translation kindly funded by Galway City Partnership.
Free admission, Open to all ages.
